Singing for Fun

Come and join our friendly group of singers.  You do not need to be able to read music, or even think you can sing, just a desire to join with others in having fun.

Over the last year we have researched and sung songs that were popular in the early part of the 20th century, especially during the Great War.  Interestingly some were nearly a century old even then.

This year we hope to look at songs sung between the wars.  Many of these will come from The Great American Song book, which will be of interest to those of our members also in the ‘U3A American Song Book Appreciation Group’.
We meet in the Methodist Church, Shepherd Lane, Priestwood in Bracknell on the second and fourth Monday of the month from 2.15pm to about 4pm.  Currently we pay £1 per person toward the cost of the room.
