Terms and Conditions of Membership
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
All members must:

Abide by the Principles of the U3A movement.
• Always act in the best interests of the
U3A and never do anything to bring the U3A into disrepute.
• Abide by the terms and conditions of
the BFU3A Constitution.
• Treat fellow members with respect and
courtesy at all times.
• Comply with and support the decisions
of the elected Committee.
• Advise the Committee of any change in
your personal details.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
If you click AGREE at the foot of this page you will be giving
us permission to use
the information you have supplied in the following ways:

To store it securely for membership purposes.
• To communicate with you as a U3A member.
• To share with Group Coordinators for
those groups that you are/will become a member of.
• To send you general information about
the Third Age Trust (the national organisation to which U3As
are
affiliated).
THIRD AGE TRUST MAGAZINES
The Third Age Trust magazines Third
Age Matters (TAM) and Sources
are distributed by a third party company. If you indicate that you wish
to receive such mailings, then by clicking AGREE below you give
permission for your data to be shared with the company that
distribute these
magazines. If later you wish to opt out of such mailings you can do so
by contacting the Membership Secretary
GIFT AID
If you are a UK taxpayer and authorise us to claim Gift Aid, please
understand that if
you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of
Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your
responsibility to pay any difference.
